Hello, this is Joykissed. I recently read Lizababy's article on the war on Iraq, and I just wanted to express my opinions, too. I believe war is definitely not the answer. If we want peace, how is destruction and killing ever going to bring it?

President Bush has rushed into everything very quickly, not thinking about the consequences, as far as I'm concerned. We dont have many allies with us right now, and Israel is the ONLY country where the majority wants war. Even the UN is against Bush's decision. People have to negotiate and consider everyone's opinions more. I know it would be extremely difficult negotiating with Saddam Hussein, seeing how dangerous he is, but just going ahead and killing him on our own can't be the answer.

I am fearful that beginning a war with Iraq will make them furious, enough to make another terrorist attack. However, a country that is not nearly as powerful as the American ones are not a large military threat. What Iraq's people needs is help, a democracy, but definitely not war.

This is Joykissed, always remembering to peace out and always welcoming others' opinions.
