"Now I gotta get up here, and prove the importance of my clothes, of my pose I suppose... something something, something... again!" Okay, so you'll please forgive my horrible memorization skills! I will know the words one day and then love will conquer all... er... love, or hate. Anywho, where's the beans? While I go look for 'em, ya'll stay here and read!

*Clears throat*

You know that debate that goes on and on in Whyville (which I'm not about to put to rest, as you can probably tell...), you know, the one about appearance? Well, I wanted to point out a little something or other. And you know what, this topic may be a little old, but I have a good point!

Many people complain that we put too much pressure on appearance in Whyville. It's so important that you look good. But how come nobody mentions that we're perfectionists when it comes to appearance in reality? It's important to be skinny in reality. It's important to be tall in reality. It's important to have gleaming white teeth in reality. This is important, and that's important, too. Or so they try to convince us.

Love yourself. If you can not love yourself, you can not possibly love anyone else. You can be envious, jealous, bitter and cold-hearted, but none of these constitute love. People can tell you this time and time again, but you have to experience all these things for yourself before you can really understand. I can tell you it's very true. I began to hate myself, and everyone was repelled from me. It will never happen again.

Teachers warn us time and time again about eating disorders, but for the most part, these warnings only affect young girls. What about all the guys who take steroids to make girls like them? Doesn't that constitute body damage? And why don't we discuss it more? Because it's not as common? Serious? Yeah, right. And I'm a monkey's uncle.

You can judge me all you want on Whyville, and you can say it's not important. Either way, it doesn't matter. We judge each other in reality all the same. Why bother worrying about that? And don't sweat the small stuff -- sweat the wet, liquidy stuff like a normal human being! (I do!)
