Hi! This is Kalia25 here, and I'm writing for the Times!

I recently read an article called Hair, Hair, Hair. In it, the author talked about how everyone wants straight hair. I disagree with that! I know so many people that would love to have naturally curly hair!

I myself have curly hair, and I love having it! So many people I know would love to have curly hair. You can do so much with curly hair, and style it in way more different ways than you can with straight hair. It's so awesome to have!

Here are a few styling tips if you have curly hair: if you're gonna wear it down, put some mousse in it... not a no-name brand, though. No-names aren't usually good for your hair, so get a brand name.

Why would you want mousse in your hair? You would want mousse in your hair because it tames it down and gives it a really nice shine. If you're gonna wear it up, always make sure you apply some hair spray. It just looks a lot better and it doesn't fall out. But make sure that you don't apply too much hairspray, just enough.

Want some ways that you can wear your curly locks down? Well, get a clip thing and pull some back and then leave the tendrils of curls hanging around your face. Another style is of course just letting it all down with nothing done with it. Or you can straighten your bangs (the front part of your hair) and pull it back with some cute little clips. Or, you can straighten only one band... or a front part of your hair and put a headband in it... make sure it's one of those thin ones with the claws. Or put a bandana in it, that always looks good, especially with curly hair. There are so many more hairstyles that you can do with your curly hair when it's down, but those are just some of them!

Now, for when you do it up in a bun... wear it up with a few curly tendrils hanging around your face! Or put it in a really high ponytail. Or else you can straighten your bangs or front parts of your hair and wear it up in a bun. Again, those are just a few ways to do your hair up, but there are many more!

Wanna know how you can make your curly hair shine? Use shampoos that give your hair extra shine. Also, add that mousse to your hair if it's down, or even if your hair is up. Or use hairspray -- if your hair is up, only, of course. I don't have frizzy curly hair, it's just curly hair, but if you have that, use a professional shampoo and conditioner that gets rid of the frizz.

When it comes down to it, I'm all about using the shampoos and products that do what I want them to do -- no special tricks for me!

That's about it for now. If you have any questions, y-mail me.

I'm out!
