At first I thought that the article about commericials made
sense, saying how we were better without them... but think about it for just one
more moment.
Commericals are good because some of them tell us the consequences of drinking
and driving, and what can and will happen to you and others if you do drugs.
Okay, I admit that the bububa beer commerical can be VERY anyoing after hearing
it 1,000 times, but what about the positives? What about telling us to stay in
shape, that we should read and play outside!? What about all those things that
can help us with every day choices? I don't think that we are better off without
commericals!!
What if you see a comerical on a show you wanna see, like a music awards show?
How would we know the constant updates on war with Iraq? Sure I'll agree the
Swiffer Wet Jet commerical does get VERY annoying, and same with the Reese's,
but I like Reese's. LOL! (By the way, for anyone who doesn't know, LOL means
laugh out loud.) And what about the funny commericals that make you actually
laugh out loud?
So, NO, I personally do not think that we would be better off without
commercials.
