Hi again! This is Darling44. Before I get started with
this story, I want to mention that I checked all the names of the characters in
City Records, but if I use a Whyvillian's real name, it wasn't on purpose. Hope
you enjoy the story. Thanks! :-)
Two months ago, a Whyvillian by the name of XXX came into Whyville. XXX was bad
news. He caused all sorts of trouble while he was in Whyville. He swore, he
threw mudballs at weddings, hacked other people's accounts, and stole clams.
After two months, XXX was finally caught, and banished from Whyville.
Now, a newbie by the name of NB entered Whyville two weeks after XXX was
banished. NB had gotten a face three days after being in Whyvile, and raised his
salery to 25 clams in the first week. He was totally into Whyville and was
living life.
One day, NB was walking around Whyville Square when he ran into a newbie with no
face. His name was X. NB tried to talk with it, but X couldn't chat until
tomorrow. NB was curious why someone would go by the name X. Even so, NB wasn't
at all suspicious.
That night, NB read the Times Archives. While searching, he found all sorts of
articles about XXX, and wondered if there was a connection between X and XXX.
"Nah, it can't be," NB said.
The next morning, NB found himself right by X again. NB remembered that X could
talk now. So NB whispered to X. "Hi."
X responded by going right behind NB so you couldn't see him. Then, X swore.
Really badly.
Unfortunately for NB, City Hall heard X and ran toward the area. She was giving
dirty looks to NB. NB knew he was in trouble. He looked behind his back for X,
but the troublemaker was gone.
To be continued....
