This is razelberi, coming in!
I've just finished reading the horror book, Twisted by
R.L. Stine. (I love R.L. Stine books!!!)
In my opinion, it's a great book. It's about Abby, a girl who
has just been asked to pledge the Tri Gams, the most exclusive sorority on
campus. The Tri Gams are hosting a meeting that night, and Abby is getting ready
to leave. She spends two hours choosing what to wear, and finally she comes to a
decision. Her sister, Gabriella walks into the room, and Abby asks her opinion
on her 'look'. Gabriella insults her, and walks off, leaving Abby disgusted.
After talking with her mother for a couple of minutes, Abby is ready to leave.
When she arrives at the Tri Gam House, she sees her most
hated rival, Leila. Leila doesn't notice her, and walks in. Abby is amazed. She
can't believe that Leila is pledging the Tri Gams, too! For a moment, she
wrestles in her mind, arguing over whether to go in and pledge the Tri Gams, or
forget about going home. Finally, she decides that nothing can stop her, and she
walks into her new world.
Well, the Tri Gams House is a little less than as she
imagined it. In fact, it was pretty run down. She gets up into the meeting room,
and waits patiently for the meeting to begin. Andrea Volner, the officer chosen
to be their guide steps up to the platform, and begins to talk to her small
audience of ten girls. Abby's mind wanders, but soon, she's alert, because
something that Andrea had said disrupted her thoughts. Andrea was speaking very
softly now, and so softly that Abby could barely hear. But Andrea was loud
enough for Abby to hear one thing; in order to be a Tri Gam, they had to commit
the crime.
But, if you want to find out the horrible 'accidents' that
occur on their weekend of horror, you gotta read the book! (Gotcha! Did you
really think that I'd tell you the whole story???)
