| | This is Angel7990, with one question: Why are we complaining?
You can't tell me you don't know what I'm talking about, because I know you do.
It seems everybody is complaining about something in Whyville.
For example, I see several polls and articles about the filter Whyville has.
People are complaining that this is making their lives more difficult and they
can't chat like they used to. Well, think of it this way. Without a filter, all
sorts of bad things could be said on Whyville. I don't think you realize this,
but without a filter, Whyville could get fined or parents wouldn't allow their
kids to go on Whyville. Do you want that?

Another thing I keep hearing is people petitioning to have clams given to them
on their birthday, or to have Club-Why lower its membership fee. I don't mean to
insult those people, but begging for clams on your birthday makes you sound
spoiled and lazy. Do you really expect City Hall to give you clams on a silver
platter just because it's your birthday? City Hall could never do that, because
that would mean she would have to give out several birthday gifts EVERY DAY!
That's how many people are on Whyville now.

As for Club-Why, how can you support Whyville if the fee is just a small one
that anyone can pay? To join Club-Why, you should show that you are willing to
save up that much money to support Whyville, instead of using that money on
yourself. That's something I'm working on right now.

I really wish Whyvillians would stop begging and complaining about how Whyville
works, because frankly, I'm just glad Whyville exists. This is such an awesome
site, and I don't see much wrong with it.

Before I go, I want you to think before you complain, because chances are you
could get what you need in half the time it takes to beg for what you want.
