Hey there, I'm razelberi, signing in.
Wow! It's been a long time since I've written for the Times!!
I'm concerned about the way Whyvillians these days are using their chat
privileges. Just the other day, I was on Whyville, and everyone was swearing.
Somehow the filter-thing got messed up, and no one was being 'taped' for using
foul language!
Just think, people. There are minors on Whyville, too. My
neighbour is only 10 years old, and she has an account on Whyville. If she was
in that room, and everyone was swearing, she wouldn't mind. But, she's forbidden
to swear or curse, and if her mom or dad came downstairs, she'd be banned off of
the internet, grounded, and might even have her TV privileges taken away from
her!
You probably think that it isn't a big deal, right? But what
would happen if your parents came downstairs, or into your room, or into the
office, (blah, blah, blah) when you were on Whyville, and people were talking
like that? I know for sure that I would be grounded so long I don't think that I
could count that high.
So think twice, please.
I know, I know. I short article, but I have to go have
supper! (Don't miss me too much, LOL.)
This is razelberi, signing off...
