The Times Summer Staff finalists are so far Giggler01, Wildfire9, and TIKE -- read their submissions and think about what, if anything, makes them deserve a special position as a Times Summer Staff writer. What should they write about next? The final hurdle will be announced next week!
The official Whyville Senator election has begun -- City Workers have told me Senate hopefuls should go ahead and post your platforms in the petition booth. Those of you who reach the poll level will be allowed to submit your updated platforms to the Whyville Times, where we'll create a special Senate Section. Times Writers and Summer Staff will write well-researched political articles explaining the goals of an election, the meaning of a platform, and everyone will be asked to debate what the whole purpose of a government in Whyville should be.
