Do you want to be the first Senator in Whyville? Cool! Obviously becoming the
first Senator of Whyville will not happen with the snap of your fingers. It will
take some work. So what do you have to do? I asked different citizens what they
think needs to be done to become Whyville Senator. Below, the general ideas
are listed.
-
Be an active participant! That means doing things like going to Calliope's
Critique Club or MediaWiz's MediaHour at least once a month.
-
Talk to the citizens! If you're going to be a representative
of this town, you should get to know the citizens. Take a chance to break of out
the mold. -
You should earn at least 20 clams a day. It shows that you at
least tried playing some of Whyville's great games.
-
You should posses the following qualities: Respect for others; Be trustworthy;
and Be nice!
I also asked the following question: "Do you think the Senator should be someone
who is a well-known Whyville citizen, or a Y-Mail helper (or something to that
extent)?" And I got every answer from, "Obviously! It shows they have a lot of
experience with Whyville!" to, "Nah, they should be an ordinary citizen."
So, you could be an oldbie that's a regular Times Photographer, or you could simply be a
Newbie that just wants to take the opportunity to become a great Whyvillian.
