Hey, it's popcicle here! I'm here to clear a few "errors" people have put on Wiccans and Witchcraft. People think Wiccans worship the devil -- but in Wicca, the beliefs are a little different than Catholic or Baptist and so on. Christian religions describe a devil, but there's no devil in Wicca. As a Wiccan, I know that we do not worship any devil in any way.

Wicca is a kind of witchcraft. Some people are Eclectic witches, which means that they don't follow any type of witchcraft, like voodoo, or Wicca, etc.

Witches don't put spells or hexes on people everyday. They do it regularly, but like most people, witches usually only do spells for themselves, family, and friends. I practice witchcraft, and I don't do spells for whomever asks me, because it's a waste of my energy. Usually after doing a spell a witch loses energy, and sometimes balls of light will be seen flying around the room, which is their leftover energy.

When people ask what my hobbies or religions are, I proudly say Wicca and I practice witchcraft. But then people say, "You worship the devil?" It's so annoying. I don't believe in the devil.

Wiccans and any other kind of witch has their own secret writing; it's called The Witches' Alphabet. I have it memorized already and write stuff in the Witches' Alphabet that I don't want others to read. There is also a Wiccan Rede. But I'm not gonna explain that because it's very long.

In conclusion, I hope you get it that we do not worship the devil, and we are just like everyone else.
