Hey, this is froggy37. Many Whyvillians have trouble making clams. But it's
really very simple.
1) On top of the bus in the corner of the screen is a red satchel. Click on it,
then go to the ledger book. At the top, there are three options: Bank statement,
Salary ledger, and Bonus ledger. When you go to the salary ledger, it gives you
links to games that will raise your salary. (If you are new to Whyville, it may
be a few days before you actually get your salary.)
2) When you go to the bonus ledger, it gives you links to things that will give
you some clams when you do them, but won't raise your salary.
3) A very easy way to get clams is by showing your parents around Whyville. Once
they see it, you can print out a sheet that will give you 80 clams when you send
it in. You can get the sheet from the option on the bus called "Parents Ed
Bonus".
4) When you join a tour, what you find will give you clams (and raise your
salary). You can sign up for tours at Tiki Tours.
5) You can design face parts at the Face Factory. It costs money to make the
parts, but when other Whyvillians buy them, you get the clams that you charged
for the part.
