as i walk down the street
the hot asphalt burns my feet.
i think about the summer days
i had so much fun its all a haze.
fun with friends, pool time,
cool movies and long long lines.
shopping around at the mall,
they already have clothes for fall.
going on vacation and sun-bathing,
water skiing and water wading.
so much fun with family and friends,
i hope this summer never ends.
