I just got taped and deicided to explain what that means to the
newbies. Let me tell you, it's NO picnic. The punisment that comes
1st is clams: City Hall can take away a certain amount of them. Then
comes being taped, and that's a nightmare! Newbies say, "I can FINALLY
chat!" They often say that without looking at the chat rules, and
then they get taped.
You get taped when you use inappropriate language in Whyville chat
rooms. Often, people don't apparently realize that they are using
offensive
language, or they don't think a certain word is inappropriate to City
Workers. You can also get banished from Whyville. That's called getting
a 911 report. A 911 report is just like calling the police because
something really terrible happened in a chat room. For example: Using
REALLY inappropriate, offensive language, REAL stalkers, child
predators, someone pretending they're a kid or teen when they're really
an
adult, someone asking for personal info, and more cases like
that.
So remember, you should only use 911 report for real cases
that are worth using it for. Use it like the real police, that's why
its
called 911, after all...
Don't do anything against the the
Whyville rules, it's not worth it.
