Hello, Whyvillians. I am writing this article on my favourite
author, Judy Blume.
She wrote my favourite book Tiger Eyes, about a girl whose
father was murdered
at his store. The girl moves to her aunt and uncle's house after the father's
death, with her little brother and mom.
She has a tough time living there.
She has no friends at first, is still very sad about her father's death,
and does not like her aunt and uncle that much.
She soon finds friends and meets a older guy who she can talk to. This is really a good book, read it yourself to find out more.
Another book by Judy Blume that I recently read is Are You There God? It's
Me, Margaret. This book is about a girl who moves from New York to a new,
quieter city. She soon meets new friends and they start a club.
The girl, Margaret, has a problem. Her grandparents on her mom's side are
Catholic, and her grandparents on her dad's side are Jewish. Margaret has no
religion. The kids in her new town go to the YMCA or the Jewish Community
Center.
Her parents say when she is older she can choose her own religion, but
Margaret feels it is time for a religon now. When her mom's parents
come over one day, there is a big argument about Margaret's religion.
So what will happen to Margaret? Read the book to find out!
I really love Judy Blume's books. These are only two of the bunch she
has written. These books are mostly for girls, but you will find some
books by Judy Blume for boys too!
This is Lilly2000, signing off.
