Hi everyone, this
is Flygurl8 here, telling you about the Alabama tax increase!
Now, a lot of you
may not live in Alabama, but this is still an interesting topic that
I believe will affect the way we think.
Governor Riley says the 1.2 billion dollar tax increase will give lower income
families less taxes and higher income families higher taxes. This bill is
supposed to help schools, but when reading up on the real facts that he didn't
want you to know, I found out some interesting information. Only a little bit of
the money will go to schools and medication for the elderly the rest will go to
government spending and big companies.
Editor's Note: Where did you discover this, Flygurl8? Make sure it
wasn't another politician's website! Until you can quote us your sources, we
have to take everything you say with a big grain of salt. I'm glad you're exploring these kinds of topics, though, so keep it up! :)
Governor Riley has
also said if everyone votes no, we will be in a deep state of emergency
with our school systems and medication for the elderly. So I ask you,
if you had the choice of of voting, what would you say??
This is
Flygurl8, signing off with state news!
