Do you ever
wonder why Whyvillians ask other Whyvillians out? It's not like you can
actually go out on a date with this person, yet they continue to ask
and ask and ask. Some have even heard of Whyville users getting
married! Talk about crazy!!!
I have actually attended a wedding
undercover, meaning the people didn't know who I was and why I was at
their wedding. At the wedding, the people acted like it was real!
The bridesmaid and other attendees were typing in phrases like "*tear*"
and "*this is so beautiful*". Psychos? No, let's not put it that way,
let's just say, the bride and groom lived happily ever after.
As far as we know.
I was
speaking with a friend earlier today and people were talking about
"going out" and getting "married" on our very own Whyville site, where
we are supposed to make friends and have fun and learn! But I "overheard" a
young boy who said he was 11 years old asking a older girl to
go out with him.
I said to my friend, "This is so weird," and her response
to this question was, "I know." (There was a pause after this because she
was typing.) Then she said, "My friend is getting a divorce," and my
reaction to this was, "Wow."
Is this humanly possible? To divorce from a marriage on a
website? When the people weren't literally wedded?
This type of thing is astonishing. Just to put this out there, I believe that on Whyville you are supposed to have fun and make friends and play around.
But some things can go so far!
Just don't take your actions on this site
into your daily lives -- we are still young!
