Hey, people on Whyville!  My name is Hoops09 and I want to help you guys who have just moved.

First things first, when you get to your new house, take a bike ride or scooter ride around the block.  If you meet some kids, introduce yourself. Maybe you'll become good friends.

At school, you know how everybody has there own group of some sort?  And you want to be a part of it?  Don't think they'll just let you in right away.  It might take some time.  But if you do see someone wandering around the schoolyard, go up to them and say hi.  Maybe they will introduce you to their friends.  That's what I did with my friend.  She introduced me to all her friends and I became friends with them.

Also, you can always try to find more friends -- maybe you want to talk to the person beside you or behind you at break.  That's what I did, too, with someone in my dance class.  Again, she introduced me to her friends, and now I'm friends with her best friend and another friend that lives across the street.

So ask people where they live; even if they aren't your friends right now, maybe they will warm up to you if you start talking to them nicely.  Making friends is that simple.  But it will take some time.

And for all you people that read this who are moving or already moved, you're making a good choice, because I just experienced this.  I hope you take my advice.
