Some people may be bored with Whyville and may be thinking about quitting.
Don't! Read this first and see if I can change your point of view.
If you've been there, done that for the last who-knows-how-long, try these
original ideas:
Throw A Vacation Party
Have you ever wanted to chat in a room somewhere that isn't
infested with people? Well, invite all of your friends to come with you to an
exotic location. Go to the Warp Wagon and decide on where you want to chat. Tell
everyone to meet there at a certain time. This is a guaranteed way to avoid
people besides your friends and throw a private party. Stand Up For Someone
Yes, this sounds corny, but if you help someone, you might find a new friend.
You wouldn't want to be teased and not stood up for, would you? I don't think
so. So give this a try and see how you like it.
Re-Invent Yourself
Have you ever logged on here and thought that you need a change? Well, change
your look! Whyville is the perfect opportunity to change yourself and play like
you're someone else and nobody will ever know! Just don't play like you're older
or younger than you are, though. You might be reported for that! Don't care if
you're ugly or unique; it's fun to be a leader. My friend KitzKatz, whom some of
you may have seen dressed up from a cow to a pirate, says, "What fun is it to be
a clone when you can't express yourself?" I totally agree with her! So go wild!
Make New Friends
If you want to get away from your friends, try to find new ones. Go to a room
and ask a question about people's favorite hobbies, books, food, etc. You might
find someone to have more fun with! I found a friend once who, like me, plays
clarinet and loves the song "The Tempest." We've been chatting ever since!
Hold A Tic-Tac-Toe Tournament
Gather up many people and get them to a certain room of this game. Play until
someone is the champion. This passes a lot of time and is very fun!
I hope I have persuaded some of you to see Whyville from a different
perspective. So try an idea and have fun!
