Hey! It's me, Kalia25. Have any of you ever had an animal? A lot of you probably have had animals -- probably very lovable and cute ones just like me. I'm sure that you all went through a very tough time when your little animal died. Well, I'm going through a very tough time, too.

My cat just died last night on August 20, 2003. He was and still is definitely the best cat in the world to me. I love him to death, I'll always love my little baby boy no matter where he is or what he's done. He is two years old, he just turned two on June 13, 2003. I gave him some cat food for his wonderful birthday, just because food is his favorite thing in the world. He gobbled his present all down as soon as I gave it to him.

When I first got Retro, I knew he was the cat for me. He is dark gray with white mittens and boots, a diamond on his forehead, a white belly, a white chin, and those great big beautiful grass hopper eyes. As soon as everyone seen him they would fall in love with him. He was just the cutest cat in the world, inside and out. He purred like a motor bike, it was the cutest thing ever. He was like my great big teddy bear. He'd rub against me and anyone else he came across. He loved pretty much everyone. He'd even suck on my hair. I guess he thought it tasted good or something.

Sometimes he acted just like a dog: He'd drink from the toilet, and pant like a dog when he was thirsty. I could never really figure out was up with that, but it was definitely cute. He was what put me to sleep at night. I knew he loved me just the way I loved him. He was like my very own baby. All the girl's cats liked that kitty of mine, I guess it was just because he was so darn cute and lovable.

He hated going for car rides... it was so cute how he hid under the seats. I know one thing he loved the most, though. It was playing outside and catching all the grasshoppers. He just loved that I would give him the freedom to go outside. I knew I couldn't take that away from my little baby boy, and I let him because it was such a quiet area, and he never went far, plus he watched for cars. One day when Retro was outside, though, and... the unthinkable happened. He got hit by a car and died. I kept asking myself, though... why did this happen to me? Why me? Why Retro? There were lots of other cats outside that night, but why did it have to be Retro?

I will never understand why Retro had to go. I guess it was just his time to go. I just wish it hadn't been so soon.

Retro's Memorial:
I love you Retro, you will be forever loved by me and everyone else that loved you, and trust me there are tons of people that love you, especially me. You're the cutest, most adorable cat, and not only that, but the most lovable. I'll always miss you, along with everyone else. I will always hold a place in my heart for you, I will never forget you, and neither will anyone else. I bet even all of your buddies (cats) will miss you. You had a lot of  friends, and I'm your best one. I love you Retro. You're the best kitty that I ever could have asked for.

Rest in peace.  Love from me and everyone.

This is Kalia25... signing off.
