Hey, it's meg959, back from a little vacation of writing for the Times. And I have the perfect thing to tell you about... Halloween! It's the time of year when you dress up like crazy characters and get free candy! But some people, like me, have trouble figuring out what to dress up as, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a few interviews to see what everyone else will be doing. Maybe it will help you out.

First I thought I should interview Mikerooni:

Meg959: Hi, I'm writing about Halloween costumes, and wondering if you could tell me what your being to help out other Whyvillians.
Mikerooni: I'm not sure at the moment but probably something that scares a lot of people.
Meg959: Like....
Mikerooni: Maybe a zombie, whatever comes up.
Meg959: Thanks for helping me, and Happy Halloween!
Mikerooni: Yeah.

Next I picked Reflected to interview:

Meg959: What did you choose to be or Halloween this year, Reflected?
Reflected: Umm, a devil.
Meg959: That sounds cool! How will you create your costume?
Reflected: Oh, my costume would probably be a red halter top, red pants, a pitchfork, and some devil horns.
Meg959: Thanks, and happy Halloween!
Reflected: You too, meg959!

And last but not least, nana:

Meg959: Hey, I'm doing an interview for the Times and I was wondering what you are being for Halloween.
Nana: I decided to be a crazy duct tape and paper man, lol.
Meg959: Wow, that sounds... unique! And how exactly are you going to create the costume?
Nana: You cover yourself in paper bags and then randomly tape duct tape all over it...basically
Meg959: Sounds exciting Nana, and Happy Halloween!
Nana: HAPPY Halloween MEG959! Byeee!

I hope those few interviews helped you, but if they didn't, I have a few more costume ideas to share.

Goth: All you have to do is put on all black and make dripping eyeliner like you see on Whyville. And for an extra Gothy look get one of those wash-out black hair dyes or the kind in the spray bottle.

Hockey Player: If you've always wanted to play hockey but your parents never allowed you to, this is your costume! Just get any old jersey and throw it on with any pants, you can also carry an old hockey stick from one of your siblings or your dad. To make you look like a real hockey player put some fake blood on your face to make you look like you got hit in the eye with a stick.

Little Girl: This one is pretty simple, but its one of my favorite costumes! Just put your hair into cute pigtails and maybe put bows around them, and wear your pajamas and slippers. If you want to get this costume to look really nice you should carry a teddy bear and draw some freckles onto your cheeks and nose. (This costume is especially cool on guys).

So there you have it, Halloween costume ideas. But if you're STILL not sure what to be, you can always be one of the original Halloween characters, like a witch, zombie, vampire, or Frankenstein. Or just head off to your local thrift store -- they always have awesome costumes there.

Happy Halloween, and remember to go wild while picking your costume.

This was meg959, hoping it's not too late to send in this article.
