Hello, Whyvillians!!! I saw this one site
on the internet. It was about real haunted places in a certain area.
So I typed in my state and these really interesting places popped up. I live in Indiana,
where I thought that there wouldn't be a lot of places, but there
were a TON!!! I thought I'd share some with you. If you live in
Indiana you might wanna check this out, too.
Indiana State Fair Grounds: There is
an abandoned bridge next to the Indiana State fair Grounds, on the east side of
the fall creek pkwy that takes you to Millersville Rd. It has been said
that you can hear splashing and gurgling noises under the bridge where a young
boy was pushed off and drowned. Supposedly his older brother pushed him
off and watched him drown.
Peru-Hookmans cemetery: No matter what
time of the day you go there is a fog that sits at the top of the hill, no
breeze, no birds, or insects. When you go there he is not buried where
it's marked. You will have to walk about 1.5 miles back. You'll no
when you get there because it's like a cold pocket. Urban Legends say that
on cold Fall nights you can see Hookman walking along Lovers Lane Rd.
looking for his next victim.
Peru-Okie Pinokie: This site is
located off of River Road (On your way to Missinewa Reservoir). You will
come to a "Y" in the road, where you will hang a right. You will soon see
a small cluster of pillars at the entrance of a gravel road. This sight
used to be swampy and marshy and there have been about 8 decayed bodies found
there reported by Missinewa staff). this may be the sight of some burial
ground of an old battlefield, as to the thousands of spirits hiding in the
trees. You will go down this gravel road and all the trees will begin to
swarm and entwine above you. You will come to a circle. Getting out
of the car it is said that if you whistle, someone will begin whistling with you
from deep in the forest. It is also said that sounds like a pig squealing
or a dog barking can be herd like they are right next to your ear. Last
but not least, you will hear sounds of a small child being tortured; supposedly
it is a 7-year old girl named Stephanie. Also, traveling down a long path
you will find a tree that has indents that look like antler marks; HOWEVER these
are horizontal not vertical and have a place for an opposable thumb.
Warning: DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO BE TERRIFIED! (P.S. Do
not "Ouija" here for the spirits do not like it.)
Wabash-Missinewa Battle Grounds/Graveyard: Upon approaching the graveyard, you can see an old abandoned church
behind a white picket fence. Farther back, a grave yard with 20-30 graves,
not arranged. Strange groaning and sounds coming from the woods along with
actual physical contact that was witnessed by myself and others in my group.
Recorded on film non refracting light when stilled appeared to be an apparition
running across the film. Also on camera, fresh blood was on the tombstones
that wasn't previously there. Other reporters say, also witnessed by this group,
deeper into the woods, deeper in the woods in another section, places closed off
by the state, for unexplained reasons where strange noises can be heard coming
from. Pictures and videos are available for evidence.
Thanks for reading these. If you need
directions or just wanna visit this sight for your self go to
