Hey everyone, this is LiLKuTiE7 dealing
with an issue that teens are faced with every day: peer pressure.
People you thought made good decisions
didn't. Including yourself. And I for one, know all about this.
I have dealt with peer pressure. Who
hasn't? It is a big thing at my school and probably at yours, too! On top of your
homework pile ups and your teachers nagging you, the least thing you need is
someone asking you, "Do you want a smoke?" or "Do you want a beer?"
etc, etc.
When I was in grade 6, we had to take a VIP course all about making right
decisions when it comes to peer pressure. Most of my class said they had
learned the dangers in drinking, smoking pot and other harmful things we get
pressured about. I was one of those people.
When I was 12, I started to drink. Not a lot, but I did
it. And it's not something I'm proud of. I also tried smoking pot
when I was 12. I liked it, but then my parents found out and they bug me
about it all the time. I really regret doing that kind of stuff. I'm
13 right now and I've already drank various kinds of alcohol, and smoked pot and
alcohol. I've done a lot of stuff I didn't want to do in my life, but I was peer pressured into it by my "friends."
Please don't give into peer pressure.
It's the worst thing you can do and the results can lead to tragedies. Have
strength.
