The other day I decided I wanted to raise my salary. So I went to the Zero
Gravity Chamber and started throwing my projectiles in order to maneuver myself
towards the lights that lit up. I had not been there long (I had only completed
level 1) when another person came along. I continued what I was doing, thinking
he would do his stuff, and I do mine. I was just about at the second light when
he threw a projectile at me, pushing me into the wall.
At first I thought it was
a mistake -- he didn't mean to hit mean to hit me, right?
So I went back to level 1. But it happened again. And again! Then another person
came in. He looked new to Whyville and I noticed that after throwing one last
projectile at me, the guy who was interfering with my game started throwing projectiles at
the new citizen, to mess him up too. I
soon left, thoroughly disgusted by his behavior.
Why do people do this? Do they think it's fun? I certainly don't think so. Hurting others
is never right. Next time, think before you act... think about what you're doing and
how it affects the people around you.
Things like this won't happen if people
just think.
