So many citizens are excited about the Whyville mall. It will bring food, shopping with friends, and a people finder. As I read the news about this creation that so many Whyvillans are excited about, only one thing came into my mind...

And they call Whyville an EDUCATIONAL site??

I WILL admit, I can't wait for the mall, but, education, the mall is definitely not. What is Whyville going to teach me there? How to buy stuff? I knew how to buy stuff since I was two and stuck a quarter in one of those bubble gum things. This is an exciting development, but how is this EDUCATIONAL?

I am at a loss for an answer. I have hopes that there will be cool things in the mall that ARE educational, like a arcade to play one or two flash math games.

About the food court -- will we have to keep our Whyvillans healthy by making healthy food court choices? If so, please make healthy vegetarian entrees.... I do not eat meat, and my Whyvillian character should not have to, either. Please include yummy but healthy things to help ALL learn about health, not just meat eaters. For example, a BBQ Tofu Sandwich and a Soy "Milk" Shake.

Please, Times Editor, write a bit on how this mall is educational... or is it not at all?

Editor's Note: The biggest thing that the mall will allow folks to do is sell and trade face parts. This will help everybody get into the face parts business -- and know how to handle money for a business is pretty serious education, even if it is a heck of a lot of fun, too! There are other factors, but I won't go into them now... ;-)
