Howdy all! This is leogurl here, writing my first-ever article.
I would like to tell everyone about a common, but very unfamiliar disease called
Celiac disease. No, this is not a disease that TONS of people die from every
year, this is a disease which my very best friend has.
Celiac disease is a disease that you can get as an adult or at birth. Celiac
disease does not let the body take in gluten. This means that
a person who has celiac cannot eat starches like potatoes and other things like
wheat... that includes all kinds of foods made of flour!
Why, though?
These people have an allergic reaction to the stuff. Different people have
different cases of Celiac disease. Some cannot eat it without throwing up.
In others it may cause diarrhea. Many people can have very serious reactions.
Whatever the reason for their disease, these people are still exactly the same
as me and you.
This is leogurl, signing off. --Poof--
