Here it is, what you've all been waiting for... THE NEWBIE... FINAL DAYS!
Last week: Muffy000 finds the Trading Post
and gives herself a makeover. She makes some friends, who loan her money. She
is feeling so good she decides to try out for modeling. She stays up all night,
waiting for the agency to y-mail her saying she got a part, but it never
happens.
Muffy000 is disappointed, but realizes that the way to be happy in
Whyville is to become part of the community. Now, we have come down to the
last Muffy000 story, the Final Days. It takes place 3 months after last week's
story...
Muffy000 logged on Whyville. Once on, she checked her Y-mail. She had 7 messages:
3 from her friends on Whyville saying hi, 1 from her boyfriend on Whyville, an
invitation to a party, and the last two from City Hall, approving
her Face Factory products.
Muffy000 responded to all of the messages, and check her ledger to see if she
had enough for a shopping spree.
"Hmmmm," Muffy thought, "I know I should save up, but I would love a new dress
for my friend's wedding."
She went to Akbar's and bought a beautiful dress for 200 clams. She also bought
matching jewelry. Even after this large dip into her savings, Muffy had 300 clams
left.
She put on her dress and accessories, and went to the Square. She talked to many
people, and stayed in the Square for 45 minutes before realizing that she was
almost late for her model shoot. (She had been accepted into the Whyville models'
group almost immediately after she had bought long blond hair and some nice eyes.)
The shoot only lasted about 10 minutes, but by then it
was getting late, and Muffy000 had homework to do, so she logged off and turned
off her computer.
Tomorrow she would go back on, at her usual time.
So that is how my story about Muffy000 ends. She is happy in Whyville, and it is like
a second home to her. She worked hard for three months before accomplishing her goals
for Whyville, but it was worth it.
So, to all you Newbies out there reading this... Good luck, and may you do as well
as Muffy000 did!
