Hello! Today I am writing about a section I have never explored: Science.

Why do we get a concussion when knocked on the head? Why do we lose our memory and blackout? Is it some malfunction in the brain? Can we just not think right? I started wondering these questions when my friend got a mild concussion last year. (She is fine now. :-) It wasn't something THAT bad.)

When you get hit on the head, it messes up some of the brain tissues. They recover slowly (if at all) or die. When it hits the tissues, it makes you lose some of your brain cells, or tears up the connections between the cells. Those brain cells and connections contain the information you forget. Your brain tries, but can't think correctly.

There you go. Till next time.
