Whyville Forum

Hi, I wrote this article because I visited the Poll Booth and was shocked. How uninformed ARE Whyvillians? They ask for malls and bands and riding stables and all sorts of other demands.

Do you not know of the upcoming cafe? Have you not heard rumours of a beach? When it concerns bands, you should make your own! It's not hard to sing a song somewhere. We have a stage, so why not put on a show?

As for things like Riding Stables, you have to remember this is just a website for kids, not the real world. And, really, going to the bathroom? How gross is that? Like I really want to watch my character go to the bathroom. Maybe a bathtub, toilet, and sink... and maybe a fridge or something... but who watches someone take a leak?

So I am thinking, if City Hall hasn't done it, do it yourself! It's not like you can't type out a song or something!

You guys need to slow down on the demands. City Hall is some Super Site Maker, and you know that!

Thanks, Chloe.

P.S. City Hall, you're doing a great job!

I have noticed a lot of stereotypes in Whyville, and I don't like them. I even followed some of them, until recently, when I realized that I don't wear pretty little sundresses and icy pink lipstick around my real-life community! I don't even like pink!

As you can tell, I don't follow Tech-Girl and Azzkickr's fashion do's and don'ts, because I just don't really care what other people think, unless it is really offensive. I am wearing black, does that mean I'm a guy? Not to me!

This summer, I took a course on women's studies and now I notice things that didn't bother me before. I think it really changed my outlook. I want to be myself, even if it isn't fashionably "right"!

Sincerely and please think about this,

cowgurl

P.S. I'd like to thank my women's studies teacher, Cynthia.
