Hello, Reporter Juzzy here. Today as I went to the Sun Roof to chat as usual, I noticed many citizens were complaining that there is nothing to do in Whyville. Everybody was getting bored of the site, and were threatening to quit.

Whyville has promised us new things to do and also to open up old things. The Face Factory has been in high demand to open up again, because designers are eager to create parts they had already planned, and other citizens were in need of a new look. However, as of my writing this, it remains closed because there are already too many face parts waiting to be accepted. Editor's Note: I believe the Factory has been re-opened.?? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also at one stage, a City Worker (I better not say who it was, LOL) gave me his word that the first phase of the much-awaited Mall would be open in December. I remember the Grand Opening got everyone talking and we were all so excited. As I write this, it is almost the end of January, and many of us have probably forgotten that there was ever going to be a mall.

And how long has Mimi been on vacation? Seems like forever, doesn't it? Even the Trading Post -- every time I visit it, it says try back in a week or so. It has been months.

HANG ON, THOUGH!

You can continue complaining that the Face Factory will never be open, and that Akbar's takes ages to notify if your design was accepted or not. And even after ages of waiting, they refuse to put the parts on the shelves. *Sigh* After all that hard work. One idea I've heard is that we should allow veterans to decide whether a face part is appropriate to be on sale or not.

Sure, the mall has been delayed, but think about how hard workers are working. If they were rushing, then we wouldn't have a top-quality mall, would we? And when it is finally completed, we all know it will be totally awesome. After all, hard work and patience does pay off.

What about Mimi? I'm not even sure if she's still on holiday, LOL, but she promised after she returns there will be a prom! As for the trading post, City Workers are working on adding new features which will prevent scamming.

In the meantime, while the people behind Whyville are working on our growing town, what can you do? Nothing but wait? Wrong! There are plenty things to do!

Remember that the Senator Race is on! Go vote for someone who you believe will improve Whyville, or be their campaigner! Trivia is on every Friday, so go have a shot at winning clams! Or perhaps you're in the mood to raise your salary by completing the Ion Engine Game. If you're feeling creative, write a story or essay and send it in to the Times!

Well that's all from me.?? My main point is, I guess we should all appreciate what this great site has to offer. I hope the Times Editor will respond to my article and that citizens will post ideas in the BBS. Perhaps even a City Worker can leave us informed of their progress. =)

Signing out,
Juzzy.

Editor's Note: I'm publishing this article to show how things sure can change in a few weeks, and to let Juzzy and others who share these opinions know that we are listening.?? As I understand it, the Face Factory is open again.?? At the Mall, the Trading Post is re-opened and totally re-done, a great way to trade face parts without getting scammed.?? We hope to see the Mall expand soon, and the Whyville Times itself is looking forward to a few key improvements...!?? Our new programmer is helping plug some holes in the games and the Trading Post, and he helped out a lot in getting the Ion Engine Game going... here's to an even more productive February, for everybody!
