You know, all I have been seeing lately in the Times is a bunch of sad,
depressing stories (people dying, Whyville dying), and I am tired of it. So I've
decided to share some of my good times with you all, so everyone else gets over
the bad times. Here it goes!
I remember when my sister, my uncle (weighing about 200 lbs), and I went over to
my cousin Igor's house to play video games. I was waiting for my turn, and Igor
was playing a one-player game. I was lying on the floor, and my uncle was saying
how he could squash me like a bug if he was on top of me. "How much you wanna
bet?" I challenged. My uncle got on top of me, accepting the challenge. Then, my
sister piled on. Igor started laughing. My uncle spread his arms out and
shouted, "Look, I'm flying!" We all couldn't stop laughing after that.
Another good memory was more of a series of times when I would imitate a highly
annoying laugh that I heard on SpongeBob Squarepants (tm). I would do that laugh whenever my
uncle messed up in this really hard game he was playing. After a while, he would
get really annoyed, and I would be sent upstairs for five minutes. Well, I finally
learned not to do that in front fo my uncle, but one time, Igor invited his
friend over to my grandfather's house, and my sister and I took our bikes up
to his house to join the fun. We all began annoying my sis by taking her bike.
She finally fell to the ground, and started crying. It may sound mean, but I started circling around her on her bike and doing that
annoying laugh, saying, "You look sttuuuppiidd!" I was sooo funny!
When I was really little, Igor, my sister and I always used to go over to my
grandfather's farm. We always picked my sis to be the "Booger
Monster",
and whoever she touched would be the next Booger Monster. We had some of the best
times at that farm, and I could cry thinking about them all.
I think I have time for one more....
Once, when we got this little Samoyed puppy, we took him out side for his first
snowstorm. We played with him a bit, and then put him back inside so he wouldn't
get too cold, even though he was made for the snow. Well, after pulling our sled
around for a little, Igor suggested to dump a bucket of snow on someone. I volunteered
to be dumped on, being the daredevil that I am. My uncle came and helped pick the
bucket up, and I curled up in a little ball, as if I would never live if I didn't. All of a sudden, a blast of cold shot down my back, and on my head.
I leapt up, a wad of snow on my hat. I looked so silly that I collapsed
on the pile and got covered all over again.
Hope that some of this good cheer rubs off on everyone else, and have a good day!
This Athena92, signing off, to play in the snow!
