Houston, we have a problem.... Razelberi here. Mayday! Mayday! Major science test tomorrow!

Has that ever happened to you? Here's some tips that will help you to study and complete homework assignments better.

- First of all, gather all necessary materials needed to study (i.e. textbook, binder, calculator, etc.).
- Now, make sure that the lighting around your study area is good. You don't want to be working in the dark.
- (Optional) Have a glass of water near you so that you can occasionally sip it. Don't get up to get a pop. It'll interfere with your work.
- The chair that you're sitting on should have a straight back. You supposed to have good posture when doing academically-related things. (Go figure.... I'll still ponder that one.)
- You'll have questions, and sometimes you won't always be able to get the answers. Ask a parent or elder sibling for advice and help.
- Sometimes it's easier to study alone, or with a friend. You can choose either way to study.
- Make mental notes on things that you think are important. Keeping this information stored in your head is the main key. But how do you do it? Here's your answer:

Say each fact out loud, repeating it three times. Apparently, this is supposed to help your memory.

- And last: Get Informed! Make sure that you know how big of a test you will be studying for. If it's worth 50 percent of your grade, I'd say cram. Ask your teacher. Once, our social studies teacher told us that we'd be having a test that Friday. I studied really hard, like an hour for four nights. Turns out, the quiz wasn't even a full page long. Grr....

Well, that's about it for now. Stay tuned. I haven't written for a while, and you can bet your big toe that I'll be back!!

Over and out,
razelberi
