Hey Everyone! I've been thinking and your right I don't really have a plan of action or at least I haven't until my last few posts answering questions
I've been thinking and asking around to see what it is the people would like to see changed in Whyville.

The first thing a lot of people mentioned was face parts expiring. well I'm sorry there's most likely not much I can do about that. I myself do dislike the idea of them expiring. I wish there were something I could do about that issue but I doubt there is... sorry

Another thing people brought up was plots. well city management has been working hard on the mall and other improvements in Whyville. be patient with there not being plots. I know we'd all like to see more plots but it seems that they have been trying to meet our other hopes, wishes, and suggestions to make Whyville better.

Now I've noticed a lot of issues while searching around Whyville. for instance.. name labeling... its such a shame the way people label others and make fun of other people. Its like they do it to feel better about themselves, like putting others down makes them better than everyone else. Name calling, arguing, and labeling are three major problems on Whyville that I've stumbled across during my visits. I would like to see things like that changed. although I'm not too sure on the action that would be taken to change this but I would certainly try. its not right that people are treated unequally because of the way they make their faces on Whyville. nor is it fair the way that new members are being made fun of because they are new and are maybe having trouble learning and understanding. cant people be a little more considerate. we were all meant to have equal rights, to be treated equally why cant we live up to that. people have died for there to be equal rights. its a shame the way people treat each other

On another note I received 2 suggestions about the times that I think are really good ideas. both of which I would like to reach as goals if elected. first off a friend stated that there should be an art section included in the times. I mean.. there's a poem section and creative writing why not arts and comics? if people really take the time to draw things on the computer why shouldn't they be able to submit them? .. just an idea id like to get.
the second one is that there be a writer of the week or in this case since the times isnt changed exactly every week, every time it is changed. Like there's made a contest and people submit articles and every issue of the times a new person is selected and placed in the times and awarded clams or something. I thought that was a good idea..thats something I would also try to work towards

Someone asked me if what I thought of Whyville having a dating service and here is what I think of the idea. I strongly oppose it. I think that if Whyville had a dating service it would lose its overall touch. Whyville is an educational site, not a site where people can hook up. Of course that is only my opinion.

There have also been a lot of questions about Mimi and the Mall. Mimi - word that I've heard is there's been a lot of dances invented and there's not enough room to store them on the server at this point. As for the Mall the stores are supposed to open I believe in either the spring or summer. They are trying to make the stores so friends can shop together.

I hope this allows you all to see that I do have a plan of action. =)

Sorry I didn't mention ideas sooner. Thank you for giving me time to submit them. Good Luck to the candidates (Suga246 and Oreobaby) - And may the best person win!
-Alicia

Fellow citizens of whyville! Ive been brainstorming again as for some ideas if elected senator. I will try my hardest to modify the expiration of face parts, work with chat moderators so that everyday words can be used (and i dont mean swearing by that), I will try to get clam bonuses for holidays such as Christmas or your birthday ( after all they only come once a yr!), I will try to get more land plots so that people who wish to buy and own a home in Whyville may do so, i will try to get the time cut down on how long it is before newbies can chat, and i will try to get more games to raise your salaries. also if you need any clams or face parts ( i have plenty) feel free to ask for either!! If I am elected Senator these are just a few of the things i will try to accomplish in search to make whyville the best place it can be! With your vote, together we can develop Whyville into something so amazing it would be unbelievable! SO now i ask Whos the right representative for Senator?! The answer and the Future lies in your hands, the hands of the citizens of whyville! thank you! -Alicia VOTE ALICIA FOR SENATOR AT CITY HALL TODAY! The Future Of Whyville is up to YOU!!!!

Alicia's Original Platform, posted in City Hall: Hey Everyone! Its great to be back on whyville! Whyville is going onto its 5th year of being around and everytime i sign on its grown to be bigger and better, not to mention extremely successful! Ive Been a member here since 1999 and thats why ive decided to run for senator!! Theres a lot to know about whyville and seeing im pretty much an oldie on here i think i have a great amount of knowledge about what goes on in whyville. WHyville is a lot of fun and I think electing someone who is familiar with the community would be good. Although im not going to sit here and make promises about what i can give you as senator because Im not sure what i would be able to do but i do promise that if im elected senator i will be the best i can be and do the best i can do to help you become a successful member here and make your time here at whyville enjoyable! Vote Alicia for senator! Its one choice you'll never regret =)

Editor's Note: Post your questions for Alicia in the BBS below. She may answer them, or City Workers may use your questions for the Whyville Senator Debate, to be hosted on February 18th by City Hall in the Greek Theatre.
