Thrashing throughout Whyville, exploring widely in each and every single room, I find no one to chat with, or to latch onto deviously. So, I visit the place of my every dreams and hopes, Akbars. I wildly look around with hope and anticipation to find a new face part to become my own.

I find many new creations of others and quickly skip towards the Pick Your Nose. I feel my face, for now, is complete. I feel that that one thing for my unusual face is complimented by the new face part. I click done???

Everything seems fine until a white screen shows up over my face: "Thanks. Wait 12 hours for your updated face." I feel as if I am slapped across the face. I am shocked and appalled. I can't believe in all my time on Whyville I would ever have to wait for my face to become my own.

Ha ha -- I exaggerate! But I was quite upset when I learned our faces now take 12 hours to save and update, if you know what I mean!

I wanted to see others and ask what they thought of this. I set off on a journey to find these people:

FudgyFeud: As you have noticed Whyville has added a new feature that we all have to partake in. We have to wait 12 hours in order to change our faces, what do you think about this?
Elzbth02: I think that people with Why-Passes should not have do wait and have their faces get changed right after they click done in the pick your nose.
FudgyFeud: Why do you think this new feature has been added?
Elzbth02: I think because there is too much bandwidth and too many people change their faces at the same time
FudgyFeud: Do you think this should have happened?
Elzbth02: Yes, I feel that Whyville moves a lot faster now.
FudgyFeud: Thank you very much for your time
Elzbth02: You're welcome.

FudgyFeud: Whyville has added a new feature to Whyville; we have to wait 12 hours for our faces to change. What you think about this?
D3MoNiAc: To tell you the truth, it really does not bother me. When I tried to change my face it only took me an hour, not 12.
FudgyFeud: We never used to wait... doesn't this annoy you?
D3MoNiAc: It never does hurt to wait. (Patience is a virtue, Whyville!)
FudgyFeud: Why do you think this change happened?
D3MoNiAc: Many people change every day and it's too much for Whyville to handle.
FudgyFeud: Is this truly a good change?
D3MoNiAc: Not really, too many people are complaining about it.
FudgyFeud: Thank you oh so much for your time
D3MoNiAc: No problem.

FudgyFeud: If you try to change your face, you see that you have to partake in a 12 hour wait in order for your face to change; what do you think about it?
Kat9: Well, I think it's very frustrating having to wait about 12 hours just for your face to change.
FudgyFeud: Why do you think this is happening?
Kat9: I think they're maybe trying something new or their servers are getting overloaded again.
FudgyFeud: Do you think that this should happen?
Kat9: Nope.
FudgyFeud: Is this a good change?
Kat9: Well, not really. I would understand a 1/2 hour or something, but 12 HOURS, NO!

We seem to have different opinions upon this -- what does the rest of Whyville think?

Your (slow) reporter,
FudgyFeud
