After reading Hermionez's article, Are You Picture Perfect?, I was deeply
saddened that she had not told me how to take photos on my Mac. Except then I
realized that I already knew how. Oh. :-)
On Mac OS X, your computer should come with an application called "Grab." Open
it up, and then find the "Capture" menu bar. I like to use the "Selection"
option. Choose "Selection" and then click and drag so you select the entire
picture you want. Then you can copy this, or save it.
On Mac OS 9, press Command-Shift-4 and then click and drag around the
selection of the screen you want. It will save what you have done to the hard
drive, usually calling it something like "Picture 1," OR you can press
Command-Shift-Caps
Lock-4 and then click and drag around the selection of the screen you want. This
will copy your selection to the clipboard.
