Today is the day
They take me away
No more blue skies
Just gray
They are taking me away
To a place unknown
Never to see daylight
again.
Into the gates
And barbed-wire fence
Into the barracks
Where prisoners sleep 12
to a bunk
Skeletons with feet stand
and watch
Watching us as we go by
With a cold, scared look
in their eyes.
Today is the day.
