I think lots and lots of
Whyvillians have been robbed of clams and parts in deals all across town. You
offer someone this for that, then complete your part of the deal, but they never
follow up.
Getting ripped off can be
one of the most frustrating things to happen to you, especially since you've
lost such hard-earned clams and parts. Fortunately, there is a better way, where
you are always guaranteed fair trade! It is the Whyville Trading Post.
Here's how it works:
If you want to trade with
someone, just tell them to meet you in the foyer of the Trading Post. You can
reach it through the dropdown menu on the left side of your Whyville page (in
the bus).
Once you are both at the
foyer, you will need to decide on a room to go into. Once you've chosen a room,
you both need to sit on a chair. As you sit down, a box will pop up on your
screen with all the items and clams you own. Only you can see your box.
You can offer up to three
different items, including some clams, in each trade. Once you have placed the
items or clams that want to trade, just click Set. Once your partner has
also added their items to the trade, you should make sure it's what you agreed
upon. Then both just click Agree to accept the deal. You should also
remember that a fee of five clams will be charged to each of you for each trade.
Now the trade is final,
and you don't have to worry about whether you will be getting your parts or
clams that you traded for! This is a safe and easy way to trade.
