All right, I've been
watching all these different senators and their platforms with good intentions,
but one thing has dawned on me.
Now, I don't know if I
missed something, but how do Senators actually change Whyville?
Do they have the server
password and do it themselves?
Do they email City Hall?
Because, personally, I
haven't seen much improvements in Whyville that are Senator-related. It's so
weird, because they say they're going to do all these things, but they don't!
We come across maybe two
or three small differences in Whyville that had to do with Giggler or OrEoBaBy.
And I don't expect BabyPowdr, Sonner or Brian98 to accomplish much, either.
But as I said, my main
question is, how do they change Whyville? HOW?!
Editor, please give me
something I can build on!
Cheerio,

Editor's Note:
The way I understand it, Senators act as the concentrated voice of all
Whyvillians. They speak to City Hall at regularly scheduled meetings in the
Greek Theatre, and at other times. It's the Senators' jobs to help City Hall
figure out what citizens really want, and what they need. Whether or not the
Senators should then explain to the citizens what's going on, that has been
discussed but not decided. Frankly, I think we're still figuring it out! It took
years for America's Senate to settle on just what a good representative does,
and they're still debating this or that detail.
City Workers, Giggler01
and OrEoBaBy, if you read this article, could you describe the process in more
detail for us?
Whyvillians, what do
you think a Senator should do? Write into this BBS AND write your best thoughts
up in a Times article!
We're also always
looking for good articles about running for office ??? how to make a good
platform, what persuades you when you read somebody else's platform, whether
Whyville should have political parties, etc.
