Hey y'alls, it's troublenc with a story of how it feels to be a soap bubble.

I sit in a box with all of my friends and family scrunched up around me. This life is great. This is the only life I've ever known.

All of a sudden this dark-haired lady with piercing green eyes picks up my house and reads the back where the description is. She slams it back down and goes to the next. I'm glad she didn't pick us.

The next lady looks much sweeter, with brown highlighted hair and greenish-blue eyes. I think to myself, "Pick me! Pick me!"

She decides we're right for her and we get carelessly thrown into a cart with other things. My Grandmother points out all of the things visible and explains what they are. She's the oldest of our group.

I see quite a few new things. Toothpaste? Kleenex? And some Coca-Cola? What are those things, anyway?

I wonder about them until we suddenly stop at a register. We get swiped through a red beam of light with an absolutely horrifying "BEEP!" noise, and get tossed into a bag with some other items I've never seen.

I fall asleep on the vibrating trip home, and when I wake up, all of my family and friends, my whole life is being dumped into a tub full of something Grandmother says is called 'water'.

All of a sudden I start foaming up and getting bigger and feel a little bloated! As I start to float upwards to meet my destiny, I think, being a bubble is the best life ever!!

Before you know it, before I even realize my time has passed, I'm popped.

Now I'm sitting in another box, waiting for another joyride. That last one was the most fun YET.

OooOhhh, this lady looks nice....

Yours Truly,
troublenc
