Hi this is ElmoGirl6 and I have to tell you about a scam. Someone sent me a whymail saying the following:

    Hi
We know you have done bad things.
So we are considering cleaning up your record and taking it off
    because of your good behaviour.
    please fill out the fallowing
    username:
    password:
    re-type password:
why you want a clean record:
Now I was shocked at this, since on this account I'm new and haven't chatted at all yet! That's why I'm writing, I must tell you be safe when it comes to scams.

Safety Tips:

    1. Never give out your password!
    2. Make your password hard to get and hard to guess.
    3. Add numbers and symbols to your password.
    4. Always put in a real email address in your Whyville Preferences, in case you forget your password. And make sure you protect that email account, too!!! People steal email as much as they steal Whyvillians!
    5. 911 report anyone asking for passwords.
    6. Always use the Trading Post instead of sending clams, so they don't just not send the face part (or switch that around, either way!).
    7. If some one asks for your phone number, 911 report them.
    8. If some one asks for your e-mail, 911 report them.
    9. If some on asks to meet in real life, 911 report them.
    10. If some one asks for your address, 911 report them.
Remember, 911 report is only to be used in emergencies.
