Lately I have been logging on and off of Whyville countless times a day, and I am realizing more and more how important fashion on Whyville is. I spend hours piled upon hours at
Akbar's trying, hating and loving all the different parts, and I recently decided there is really only one thing
I want: for this to STOP!
I think the reason people are so fashion-oriented on Whyville is the fact that if you
don't have the latest trends, people will laugh at you. Probably every 3 out of 5 girls spotted on Whyville will have
'dirty little secret' hair and 'cotton candy sweetness' shirts. And by the time
this gets out in the Times, that'll be out of style big-time!
When is this madness going to stop? I mean, if everyone dressed the same in real life, what would this world be like?
It would be awful! You would feel like just another copy from the cookie cutter of life.
Tell me, what kind of life is that?
So the next time you're at Akbar's, remember this article and don't go for what you think others will like, but
choose what you like and would enjoy wearing. The rest of us will help by NOT LAUGHING just
because we don't like someone's shirt or hair.
The only reason those people are laughing at you is because they're glad it's not them. But you should be proud if someone laughs at you
-- they are just jealous they didn't have the idea of wearing that STYLISH outfit. ;-)
