I walk in the door,
Ready to start my karate,
My brain's ready to roar,
I warm up my body,
My class lines up and then bows in,
On everyone's face there's a big shining grin,
We do our push-ups and then our knee-tucks,
Now we have to do 60 sit-ups, oh shucks!
We start with some punches,
After we finish our crunches.
Then we kick the bag hard with all our might,
Until we have hit it just quite right.
Then on to our katas,
Just 'cause we gotta,
Kea! We yell as loud as we can,
And throw a few punches just like Jackie Chan.
Hoorah! We all yell when we are able to spar.
When this event happens, no one goes far.
At last! I got a point,
When I back-knuckled his knee joint.
What a great time I had at karate today...
Now I get to go home and do homework. Hooray!
