Fellow Whyville citizens,
For quite some time I have been considering whether I
should write into the Times to talk about this. I decided that I would after
reading some of the polls in City Hall that talked about "making extra clams" and "making
it easier to raise your salary."
I find this kind of beggary and so on very annoying, as the
people that are writing these polls joined Whyville only a short while ago. They have barely tried
to raise they're salary. Heck, they might have been here for a long time, but if
they're not working on their salaries, of course they don't have money! (Did you
know you can get your salary over 120 clams a day??)
These people also go into the chat rooms and beg people for clams.
They
say that they found this awesome part but they can't afford it. Well, I'm sorry,
but my salary is 71 clams -- I raised it BY MY SELF, without asking for help. I
worked hard and I'm happy to say I received no help to get where I am. Never have I asked for
clams. I saved up and when I had enough I bought parts myself.
So if I raised my salary that high, surely other people can. What makes it
so different now? The games haven't changed -- in fact, there's more and there's
more help available for them. If only these people bothered to try, they wouldn't
have a problem.
I feel so much better now that I've told you this. I can hope that maybe now people will have a go
at their own salaries
themselves, instead of being lazy.
Yours In Ghost,
Roseghost :)
