Underneath my mask I hide,
My secrets I cannot confide.
Hides me from what I call life,
Covers my eyes and blinds my sight.
In my mask I hold my tears,
Helps me handle all my peers.
Hides the emotions I no longer feel,
Blocks the pain as I slowly heal.
Underneath my mask I hide,
I slowly see a brighter side.
From my mask I shall reveal,
The secrets that I have kept sealed.
