Hey guys! This is hottiemb, with yet another article for you about, yep, you've
guessed it, common questions and answers! I am writing yet another help article
because I feel that there are still some questions I didn't include in the first
article I wrote.
OK, here it goes:
1) How do I get a job on Whyville?
At the moment, there aren't any jobs on Whyville. You can get a salary, however,
by playing the games. It works like this: the better you do on each game you
play, the higher your salary gets. You will get your salary every day you log on
to Whyville.
2) Where do I go to play the games?
To get a list of all the games, go to your red backpack (it's located on top of
your bus). This will take you to a couple books. Click on the book that says
Ledger. Once you are in Ledger, go to Salary Ledger. This will show you a list
of all the games. All you have to do is click on the one you want to play and
instructions will be provided.
3) Where is the disco?
Well, I can't really tell you that. It's kind of for you to figure out on your
own. I will give you a hint, though. It's in a chat room that begins with the
letter S. ;)
4) How do I get rid of my Why-Pox?
There is no cure for Why-Pox, you just have to wait for them to go away. =/
5) How do I throw projectiles at someone?
If you want to throw projectiles, first you have buy them at the Projectile
Shoppe. Then, say you wanted to throw a spider at someone named Jim, you would
say, "throw spider Jim".
6) How do I become a Y-mail Helper?
To apply to be a Y-mail Helper, go to "Y-mail Helper" on your bus menu first.
Then, once you are there, at the very bottom of the page there will be a link to
apply. Before you apply, though, you must meet these requirements: You must have
been on for at least 90 days, have a salary of 75 clams or higher, and have had
no bad behavior for 3 months. As I write this article, they're not accepting new
Helpers, but I'm sure they will start up again sometime.
