Hi, I'm BabyEmm. All our countries can be very special, in their ways. Today, I'm interviewing Americans and Canadians about their countries!

There are many different people in this world (and even on Whyville) who have different opinions... like some people LOVE their country and others would rather be somewhere else.

For example, when you read articles every day on Whyville, what's it all about? Fashion and stuff? Well, here's one for these Canadians and Americans who are ready for a good day celebrating 130 years of Canada and Independence Day for America.

Please read these interviews -- you may learn something about other people's celebrations during Canada Day and Independence Day.

Interview With ldd55.

BabyEmm: Why are you proud to be American?
Ldd55: Don't know.
BabyEmm: Do you go to any of the events on July 4th?
Ldd55: Go watch the fireworks.
BabyEmm: Do you like America?
Ldd55: Yes.
BabyEmm: Any other countries/places would you rather live in?
Ldd55: Iran.
BabyEmm: Thanks!

Interview with Buddy321.

BabyEmm: Why are you proud to be Canadian?
Buddy321: Because the people are kind and just great, and with our history and how we are a free country. And we encourage multiculturalism! (I can't name the many things I am proud of, but there are a lot!)
BabyEmm: Do you go to any of the events on July 1st?
Buddy321: Yes, I do every year! There's a parade, and a pancake breakfast and fireworks!
BabyEmm: Do you like Canada?
Buddy321: Of course! I don't really like the cold, but it's not always cold here. Some people have this idea that it is always freezing in Canada. But I also like the many places you can visit, and the people you meet!
BabyEmm: Any other countries/places would you rather live in?
Buddy321: Hmm... I don't know. I have never been outside of Canada; only once when I went to the state of Washington for five days. So I don't really know what other countries would be like. But I hear England is great, and I would do well in France since I speak French. But I would still rather live in Canada. ;)
BabyEmm: Thanks!

Interview with Kake111.

BabyEmm: Why are you proud to be American?
Kake111: I am proud to be an American because we have certain privileges and our lives are much easier because what if we lived in Iraq? That would be horrible, with all the bombing and stuff. But where I live it is very safe.
BabyEmm: Do you go to any of the events on July 4th?
Kake111: No, I stay outside of my house and watch the fireworks from there because there's a park right across the street where I live, so we just sit outside and watch them go. :)
BabyEmm: Do you like America?
Kake111: Yes, a lot.
BabyEmm: Any other countries/places would you rather live in?
Kake111: I would love to live in Tahiti, it is so wonderful there. :)
BabyEmm: Thanks!

Interview with Mercedes7.

BabyEmm: Why are you proud to be Canadian?
Mercedes7: I am proud to be Canadian because Canadians are known for their peacekeeping, and Canadians are very friendly (well, most of them anyway).
BabyEmm: Do you go to any of the events on July 1st?
Mercedes7: I would, but this year I am going somewhere. I usually go to a barbecue and I always dress up.
BabyEmm: Do you like Canada?
Mercedes7: I LOVE Canada. It's not crowded, and it's beautiful.
BabyEmm: Any other countries/places would you rather live in?
Mercedes7: I would NOT want to live in any other place. I was born here and I wouldn't want to be born anywhere else.
BabyEmm: Thanks!

There are my interviews with four people -- two Canadians and two Americans. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you have an awesome Canada Day, Independence Day or any other days where you live!

BiBi...
BabyEmM ;)
