Heya, 'tis mInGeR and Surfgal05! We've decided to interview people on their views about Whyville. The people we chose to interview are: Loopylas, Blue431, lilsmush6 and kaboomers! These are random people we saw at the Sun Roof.

1.What do you like about Whyville?

Blue431: My favorite thing about Whyville is... the competition.
Lilsmush6: I like that it lets you expand your horizons on the internet; instead of being in online arcades and chat rooms, it has them both!
Kaboomers: I like Whyville for whole bunches of different reasons, but mostly because I can create kinda cool stuff for everyone, and I have a love/hate relation with my mailbox, LoL... love the great comments, but hate the overwhelming amounts of mail I get.

2. How would you like to change it?

Blue431: I would like there to be a yearbook. :D
Lilsmush6: I would like to change it so that there were more chat rooms for people of different religions, etc. I also would like to change the fact that there is a chat filter -- I mean, we do come on here to speak our minds, right?
Kaboomers: Hmmm... I'd wish Whyville would ban haters the first time they were outta line! LoL...*sigh* Can't we all just get along?

3. Where's your favorite place to hang out?

Blue431: Sun Roof and Illusion House.
Kaboomers: If you ever see me, it'll be at Illusion House or Sun Roof (I'm elusive, though). =P
Lilsmush6: I like to hang out at the Sun Roof, Dr.Leila's and Spin Speak.

4. Name some things you dislike about Whyville.

Blue431: I don't like Whyville having more than one senator.
Kaboomers: Okay, here's the thing... they need to change a couple things for designers. We need a "delete button" where we go to restock (I know I have lots of yucky parts I could just do away with), and we need a "pour paint" tool at the Face Factory so it don't waste lotza precious time. =P
Lilsmush6: I dislike the chat filter. I also dislike how newbies get made fun of because they are new. We should treat them with respect because though we might not be now, we were all newbies earlier on.

5. How long have you been a member of Whyville?

Blue431: Six to seven months.
Kaboomers: Lil' over a year.
Lilsmush6: I have been a member since February 19, 2004, but I have older accounts that have been on since December 2003.

6. What knowledge or experience can you pass on to some learners of Whyville?

Blue431: Don't scam, just raise your salary!
Kaboomers: Knowledge? Do I look knowledgeable? Hehehe....
Lilsmush6: I would tell the learners to NEVER give out your info or your passwords. I would also advise them to watch their language, because people will tell on you!

Loopylas did not answer the questions in order, but gave us a paragraph about what she thinks:

I have been a member of Whyville since 17th of September 2003 and I have several other accounts on Whyville. I like Whyville as it is a very safe place to chat on the internet; Whyville also has many things to do, e.g. play games, chat and shop, etc. It is a fun and safe place. I also like Whyville as it gives people a chance to talk to their friends and make new ones.

However, there are some things that I dislike about Whyville and they are: the Face Factory is closed too often and you can never get ahold of a plot. I would like to change Whyville so that there are more plots and so that it is a lot easier to get one. Also, I would like the Face Factory to only close only on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. Also, you have to own a Why-Pass for your face parts to not expire -- I think it is a gimmick to get money out of you and I think that either the length of time that it takes for your face parts to expire should be extended or even there could be no expiry date.

My favorite place on Whyville is the Sun Roof or Sun Spot.

Some knowledge that I could pass on would be, don't trust any one who wants to sell u things outside of trading post and only trade in trading post, as people who try to trade out of trading post scam you. Also, do not give anybody your password.

And that's all from me, loopylas xx

Editor's Note: It seems many citizens still have questions about face part expiration -- I encourage you to read up on old articles in the Times to learn why it's necessary, and how Why-Passes are SAVING Whyville!
