Well, this will be the second time I'm reporting on the trouble at SmartCars, but this time
it has gotten a LOT worse. In my first article I had suggested that we change the way
that the ranking system works for SmartCars, but I'm not going to get into that
issue here.
At the time I'm writing this, if you look at the top 15 SmartCars racers, you will see that they all have a score of 0
or less, not including 1st place. Does it look like the ranking system
is working right when you've got a civilian sitting in 87th place with more
points than the people near 1st place?
(Author's Note: At first when I saw this, I was just amazed. I thought
of all the people who aren't getting the position that they deserve, but the
thing that amazed me the most is that the 1st place racer was beaten by the
person in 87th place.)
So what do you think should happen? Do you think that they should change the
rankings to the ones I explained in this article here?
Although it might not happen, do you think they should fix the rankings some
way? Either way, post your opinions in the BBS.
