Have any of you seen or discovered the new feature where designers go most (aka
the Face Factory)? Yes, that's right, the Face Factory has got a new feature!
I'm sure a lot of you don't know about it, because you don't have a Why-Pass,
and therefore you can't discover something new like that in the Face Factory.
That is why I am here to inform you of it.
Editor's Note: Just a quick note to let you know, you don't have to
have a Why-Pass to get into the Face Factory. Passes guarantee you priority
entrance, just like in other places in Whyville, but everybody can get into the
Factory just about once a month, according to what Akbar explained to me.
Just out of curiosity, I wanted to see if any of my new face parts had been sold
yet, so I clicked on the Face Factory and went to check. But that page wasn't
loading for some reason. While this page was *trying* to load, I noticed a
brand-new link that said "Delete Designs".
Hm, That would be nice if I was a major designer and wanted more space in my
store, I thought to myself. I decided to check it out, just for fun.
I only have 14 items in Face Factory, many of them ugly or something I would
just never wear. The first item on my list is some horrible blush. This is what
the page listed for my face part designs, in order:
The Bestest Blush. Price: 10 clams. Number Sold: 15. Quantity Left: 0.
Last Sale Date: March 25, 2004.
And then it had a box labeled "Delete", so I could delete it! That was new.
I went to delete the part, and the page asked if I was sure that I wanted to
delete that part, because I could never restock it again and blah blah blah. I
was like, heck yeah!
Then I clicked on, "I'm sure I want to delete this design" and it took me to a
page that said Akbar was deleting my part and to give him a day to finish it.
Voila! As easy as that.
I especially like knowing the number of parts sold of that design; that kind of
helps you decide if you really want to delete it or not.
I'm glad Whyville has made this feature, just because I know the designers have
wanted this forever. And now they have it. What more could they want? LoL! Well,
I could name a few things I would like to see added to the Face Factory, but I
won't go there just now.
Thank you again for setting this up for us, City Workers. I'm sure the designers
will enjoy it.
Have a nice day,
