At night I look up to the sky,
And smile at what I see.
A giant sea of pink that's
Hovering over me.

Dramatic ships of clouds
And silouette of trees,
Are in my giant sea of pink
Hovering over me.

The blue moon that's white,
And golden stars that swim,
And as the night wears on,
My great pink sky grows dim.

As I stare, I think
Of all the beauties of this sight,
And how if you can stay up,
Just to see the pink skies at night.

At night I look up to the sky,
And smile at what I see.
A giant sea; once pink,
Hovering over me.

Author's Note: I was inspired to write this poem when I happened to look outside at the sky late at night, and to my surpise it was pink! I thought that this would be a perfect poem... so, this is how it turned out. Hope you like it!
